Alfredo Lamparelli
Creative Director and Owner

Alfredo is all about custom-creating couture haircuts for his clients – and then punctuating his design and direction with incredible color. As this respected hair designer evaluates and interprets fashion to suit the individual, his clients' hair fashion image simply takes on a beautiful life of its own.

No "cookie cutter" cuts sitting in Alfredo's chair, as he studiously avoids imposing celebrity-inspired hair looks (like the Oscars, for example) on his clients. His styling philosophy is "look to the individual" as he sees what the hair says, takes in a client's frame, proportions, lifestyle...and then teaches the person how to work with their hair and vary the style. Bottom line: Alfredo doesn't create a style as much as he personalizes every cut.

As an educator and stylist for 28 years and owner of Salon Bogar for 20 years, Alfredo has developed a fresh and imaginative "sixth sense" of what brings out the best in his clients. Like himself, he encourages his team members to pursue ongoing quality advanced education with the industry's top leaders. He has studied at the Academy of Vidal Sassoon as well as with Nick Arrojo, Warren-Tricomi, Toni & Guy (London), Bumble and Bumble, Brocato, Vivienne Mackinder, Jacques Dessange, La Coupe and Van Michael. His passion for color as well as cutting was further motivated by advanced education with Aveda, L'Oreal and Sebastian.

Charlie Alexander
Senior Stylist

At Salon Bogar for 5 years, Charlie started out in Guest Services and then apprenticed with Alfredo. He is the first to tell you that he is not shy about advising his female or male clients what is 100% best for them. He loves doing both cutting and coloring, and has an innate understanding of men's styling needs as well as a love for doing women's hair – from short to the longer, layered flowing looks.

His advanced education includes studying in New York at L'Oreal, Aveda and Warren-Tricomi as well as Jamison Shaw in Atlanta. Most recently, he received Certifications in the application of So-Cap Hair Extensions, the new ammonia-free INOA Color Line from L'Oreal, and the Keratin Hair Straightening System.

Vicki Planty
Master Stylist

Vicki's unique approach to hair design comes from over 35 years of experience as a stylist and salon owner from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and the last 4 1/2 years at Salon Bogar as a stylist. Her cuts (and special occasion hair) for women and men are often "modern but edgy" or "classic with a twist." Her color is blended but never boring, as seen with her rich-toned redheads, copper-fired brunettes and golden blondes. And she learns more about her clients by asking them "what don't you like" rather than "what are you looking for."

Vicki believes in giving her clients her undivided attention, her candid opinion and making them feel comfortable and relaxed in their hurried life. Her advanced education includes advanced color Certification with Aveda, Certification with L'Oreal's INOA Color and Certification in the Keratin Hair Straightening System.

Renee Cipollone
Master Stylist

A stylist for over 20 years and salon owner from the greater Boston area to Charlotte, North Carolina, Renee has spent the last 4 years at Salon Bogar. In addition to styling and coloring, Renee has also come to specialize in doing hair extensions, with over 18 years of experience. She has utilized her love of art (and her art degree) in all she does at the salon – from the artistic free-hand style of creating Balayage highlights to the more challenging roles of corrective color for her clients.

Her advanced knowledge and experience in all aspects of cut, color and styling also includes her "eye for the intricate" when doing either elaborate bridal up-work, enhancing with hair pieces or adding in hair extensions.

Her advanced education spans the gamut, from Redken, Matrix and Aveda courses to studying Balayage and corrective coloring with L'Oreal in New York. She was recently Certified in the INOA color line from L'Oreal, the Keratin Hair Straightening System and the So-Cap Hair Extensions Line.

Jaime Cooney
Master Stylist

On the Salon Bogar team for 11 years and stylist for 14 years total, Jaime considers every one of her clients a friend and loves to make them feel "at home" while at the salon. She loves doing cutting and color equally and gets involved in all aspects of hair design, including her special occasion hair styling for proms, weddings and other events.

Highly motivated and education-minded, Jaime's comprehensive training includes the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Toronto, Jamison Shaw in Atlanta, Aveda in New York, plus recent Certifications in L'Oreal's new INOA color system and in Hair Extensions from industry leader, So-Cap.

Janet Dolan
Artistic Director

Janet has been at Salon Bogar since it was just an idea more than 20 years ago.

Ever since. she has traveled extensively to seek out the highest levels of education to stay innovative and creative. Her vision comes from the interest and concerns of the client, incorporated with her creativity for each unique custom style.

As Artistic Director she is always passing on her knowledge to anyone who needs help or is willing to learn. Some of her extensive education credentials include advanced color with Beth Minardi, Jo Blackwell-Preston, L'Oréal, Aveda, Vidal Sassoon, Jack Dessange and Warren-Tricomi.

Carrie Finnegan
Senior Stylist

Carrie is passionate about good communications and enjoys connecting with her clients. She goes out of her way to "be right where they want to be" and on the best path to what they want and need. Carrie's unique professional experience, grounded in both cosmetology and esthetics, gives her a valuable perspective when evaluating and communicating with clients.

In addition to creating her cutting-edge fashion styles, Carrie's world of creative color is also one she truly enjoys. Highlights, lowlights, natural tones and bolder hues are all open for client exploration.

Her pursuit of professional education includes her most recent Certifications in So-Cap Hair Extensions and the Keratin Hair Straightening System Additional advance training includes Aveda cutting techniques as well as runway-makeup. Carrie's esthetics training was done at the prestigious Catherine Hinds Institute in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Kim Gaudette
Master Stylist

A hair designer at Salon Bogar for 8 years, Kim started off in the salon's training program working directly with creative director and owner Alfredo. Beyond the signature techniques of cutting, styling and coloring, Kim also learned a lot about working with clients and the extreme importance of really listening to the client "as if they were the only that existed."

Kim loves doing cut and color equally and is able to form the whole picture or vision of what she wants for them. She strikes the perfect balance between the client expressing what she wants – and Kim sharing "this is what you need" while offering comfortable guidelines.

Kim was most recently received her Certifications in L'Oreal's INOA Haircolor Line, in So-Cap's Hair Extension System and the Keratin Hair Straightening System. She has also studied at the L'Oreal Academy, the Aveda Institute in New York, and the Nick Arrojo Academy in New York.

Krista Ginnetty
Master Stylist

Styling for 8 years now at Salon Bogar, Krista is yet another team member fortunate enough to apprentice with Alfredo, the salon's creative director and owner. She feels that this was a unique and ultimate training opportunity as a hair stylist and colorist. That educational experience taught her to educate her clients so they can learn how to maintain at home what was created for them in the salon.

Krista shares how much clients appreciate this added measure of customer service – like being shown how to blow dry your great new cut. Krista is certainly not limited to but is "partial" to long hair ("That's what I have"). She loves working with long, gorgeous hair – with a passion for cutting, blow-drying, styling and finishing hair of all textures.

Krista has taken advanced color courses with L'Oreal and was most recently Certified in their new INOA Color program. She has also attended the Aveda Academy in New York.

Maria Kalathakis
Master Stylist

Maria likes to look at the "fashion and fun" sides of hair design, whether she's styling a client's hair, styling for a photo shoot or taking part in an exciting salon competition. Bottom line, Maria likes to "walk on the creative side" of hair fashion, often taking the cut "up one level to look professional but with a fun side."

Joining Salon Bogar in 1998, she trained extensively with salon owner and creative director Alfredo and then went on to continue her advanced cutting and color courses with Aveda and L'Oreal. Maria loves doing fashion looks, including updo's and working with hair extensions. Her signature haircolor looks bring out the brilliance and show off the shine for blondes, redheads and brunettes.

She believes in showing her clients "every step" of what needs to be done to create a look at home ("don't skip any steps"). In addition to studying with L'Oreal in New York and Jamison Shaw in Atlanta, Maria was recently Certified in the INOA color system from L'Oreal, the Keratin Hair Straightening System and the So-Cap Hair Extensions System.

Victoria Lee
Senior Stylist

"Trendy, fun and fashion-forward" definitely describes Victoria as a hair stylist with unique designer flair. Her sixth sense of what's current and glamorous keeps her clients coming back for "what's new and next" in their world of personalized image and style. Victoria doesn't "sugar-coat things" when advising her clients on what's best for their individual look of cut and color. She prefers to "you know what you need to get results" and "guide you in the right direction."

She especially loves the glamorous side of hair color, creating celebrity-inspired looks of blonde, warming up darker hair with rich caramels or glowing up auburns with copper and gold highlights. Victoria loves the healthy shiny look of L'Oreal's new INOA haircolor line (for which she was fully Certified) and wants to be the "go to girl" for hair extensions with her new So-Cap Hair Extensions Certification in hand.

Lisa Mailloux
Senior Stylist

Lisa truly enjoys all aspects of hairdressing, especially formal styling, cutting and coloring to suit the individual's personal style. Her unique professional training in salon cutting and barbering techniques offers the best of both worlds to her male and female clients. She observes that men of all ages are getting a little more adventurous when it comes to trying a new look. Lisa shares that, until recently, men are more quiet and want classic, simple lines...women are more willing to try new looks.

She reminds us that now, younger guys are really into styling (mohawks, longer skater looks, more blond, etc) and more men are getting color (such as the new 5-minute Executive Blending).

With her recent Certification in So-Cap Hair Extensions, she is excited about offering this high-choice service to her clients ("You can have a couple of extensions done to try it out or go for more").

Lisa has studied in New York with Toni & Guy and at the Redken 5th Avenue Academy as well as Aveda and with Jo Blackwell for L'Oreal Professional. She was recently Certified in the Keratin Hair Straightening and the new INOA Color line.

Elizabeth McIntyre
Senior Stylist

When you want to talk to someone who has actually "worked Fashion Week" in New York, Elizabeth is your hairstylist! She's just back from backstage with the fashion designers where she worked with the Aveda team on the runway models for several collections. Having attended art school before studying cosmetology, Elizabeth felt immediately at home during Fashion Week, observing what she calls all the "hair art" on the runways that appeals to her artistic side.

Describing the whole incredible experience as "fun and motivating,"

Elizabeth continuously encourages her clients to "change up" their look with the most current style and color looks individually suited to them. Her goal is to make every client feel completely relaxed and leaving the salon looking as "amazing and beautiful" as they can.

She loves doing blondes, updo's and make-up. Elizabeth studied the Art of French Cutting at the Jamison Shaw Academy in Atlanta and cutting classes with TIGI. Her advanced color education includes Aveda and L'Oreal where she was Certified in the company's INOA Haircolor line.

Jessica Ruston
Senior Stylist

Jessica is one of those popular fashion-forward stylists who loves her clients to look as modern as is meant for them! A connoisseur of the contemporary, she encourages clients to "push the envelope" when appropriate for them, yet remain in their image comfort zone. Her shorter cuts often feature lots of breezy layers and her talent with color trends and techniques focuses on color that integrates with and accents the cut.

Jessica offers a "lighter touch" with her Balayage technique...blended lights at the surface that add subtle dimension to the overall color (like her caramel mocha tones for brunettes). When it comes to client communication, Jessica is a big believer in really listening and encouraging them to express "not only what they want but what they don't like" (she's easy to talk to!). Tracy Riordan
Senior Stylist

Tracy is one of those versatile well-rounded hair designers whose skills are impressive and diverse for both her female and male clients. She loves doing great cuts as much as color and is completely excited about now being able to also offer hair extensions to her clients ("a great hair enhancement alternative").

Both her cuts and color techniques run the full spectrum of fashion, from the simple and classic looks for many clients to the more "fun and funky" creations that others prefer. Tracy likes her clients to "let go of everything" the minute they enter the salon and enjoy the "fun, upbeat and no-stress" experience she loves to create.

She has studied with Jo Blackwell for L'Oreal, David Adams for Aveda, Eric Fisher and at the Nick Arrojo Academy and Aveda Institute in New York. She was most recently Certified in So-Cap Hair Extensions, the popular Keratin Hair Straightening System and L'Oreal's INOA Haircolor line.

Tricia Utley
Skincare Therapist & Makeup Artist

Tricia loves all things beautiful and enjoys making guests feel special while achieving great results. With many years of experience in the beauty industry, Tricia studied skin therapy at Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics. Her education sparked a passion for science; a Self-proclaimed skin geek, she loves working on all skin types and conditions and customizing skin routines for any lifestyle. Tricia believes in an integrative approach that is results oriented, but balanced in natural and alternative modalities. She recently became certified in oncology esthetics and is only one of a few estheticians in the state with this advanced training. She learned so much about the disease and the medications and how they affect the skin and is armed with the tools to address the sensitive and fragile skin issues of those afflicted with cancer. This training has also made her more sensitive to the needs of other guests who may be ill or recovering from surgery. Make-up is another outlet for her, as she loves color and being creative. Tricia participates in local photo shoots and fashion shows regularly and has even had her work published in a national magazine.

Krystle Walker
New Talent

Knowing how to achieve those fashion runway looks hands-on gives Krystle a unique perspective on trends and how to adapt them to what's best for her clients. Her recent experience with Aveda, styling hair for designer collections during New York Fashion Week, gave her an insider's look into new trends, tips and techniques to bring straight back to Londonderry and her very happy clientele.

Krystle loves the fact that she's in an industry that is fun and can have such a positive impact on people's confidence levels, their outlook on life and generally feeling better about themselves. She especially enjoys doing longer layer cuts and likes creating soft curls and waves. As a stylist, she also loves doing great finish work and updo's for proms and special occasions. Krystle has studied color with L'Oreal in New York as well as styling with Aveda.
